[Sports] Guardiola Set to sign Daniel alves

Manchester City are closing in on Juventus defender, Dani Alves.

City will bring in two right-backs this summer, after releasing Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Saga at the end of last season.

Alves has a season left on his contact in Turin, but wants to link up again with his former Barcelona boss, Pep Guardiola.

City first tried to sign the 34-year-old Brazilian in 2010, but Guardiola who was Barca’s boss at the time, blocked the move.

Alves won the Serie A and Italian Cup with Juve last term and also reached the Champions League final.

City will also try to sign Tottenham’s Kyle Walker.
