A young man has died after he was attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Edo State who butchered him with weapons.

A young Nigerian man has lost his life after suspected Fulani herdsmen murdered him at his farm in Edo state.

The sad news was shared by Amafe Jessica on social media. She wrote: "It was a sad day for the people of Okoni, Uromi Edo State as Fulani herdsmen killed a young innocent young man at the farm.

"This is getting out of hand, and if the government cannot do anything about it, the different communities in Edo should organise themselves and send the herdsmen far away from their place.

"People are no longer going to farm in our villages because of Fulani herdsmen, some are scared to even sleep in their houses because they don't know what will happen the next minute."
